We are in a period where crime, drugs, poverty, violence and numerous other harmful aspects of urban life are vividly present in the daily lives of many. I imagined Walks of ART to be an endeavor that could possibly counter these very facets of society, an escape, if only a temporary one, from the plight the runs rampant throughout our communities. So it is not that I am merely an advocate for art,but more so that I am an advocate for change. ART is currently the apparatus available to do so.
