To all NONPROFIT individuals and organization representatives The Nonprofit Leadership Alliance at Coppin State will host its second Black Philanthropy Summit on Wednesday. April 30th!!!!

This event will highlight black giving, where those givers are and how to articulate you need so that you can further progress in your service!!!!
    This IS NOT a dialouge session, rather it is an event to equip you with further tools to move forward in action!!!!The event is FREE ($5 PARKING)!!!!! but space is LIMITED!!

Hometown Champion- NAACP Image Awards

Walks of ART Founder and Director, Shawn Burnett, was voted by citizens of Baltimore as their Hometown Champion for the work that he does via Walks of ART!!

Mens Vision Board Event!!

BMe Leaders Winter Retreat 2013

    Black Male Engagement (BMe) hosted a two-day retreat last December (2013)  in Miami where they honored the winners of BMe’s leadership awards. The recipients were presented with special jackets that they can wear back in their hometowns when they are representing their BMe chapter. An estimated 130 men attended the two-day event.

    Walks of ART Founder and Director, Shawn Burnett,  was one of the events attendees. BMe granted Walks of ART $10, 000, in May of 2013 to help continue its work with the youth and young adults of Baltimore City. Pictured, from left to right are various portions of the retreat-which include photos of Shawn, BMe Awarded Cirron Lanier, Bme Founder Trabian Shorters, Men from Baltimore and Philadelphia and some art work that was on display at the retreat hotel!!!!

Harlem Park School Year 2013-2014

Walks of ART is apart of the Expand-Ed endeavor at Harlem Park Elementary/Middle School, organizaed through the BELL Enrichment program. The school day for these youth is from 8am-6pm. Not only do they encounter traditional classroom learning, outside organizations such as Walks of ART come in to facilitate various enrichment programs, in order to assist in with increase of academic achievement!!Harlem Park 2013
